I’m always looking for ways to explains how healing works. In ‘Birth Vision – Learning my purpose in life’, a short article by Linda Martin describes how she came across the concept of Birth Vision in this book:
The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision (Celestine Prophecy) by James Redfield. She decided to meditate on it to determine her life’s purpose.
Besides being a nice read, this article neatly shows how to take common healing ‘tools’ out there in the world and use them for your own healing. Implied are all the steps in this process.lllllll
Many people read books and stop there. However, Linda took The Next Step for Healing, i.e. she searched for and took the fruit her book offered. By working with healing notions that appear attractive to you (like Linda did with the notion of ‘birth visions’), going within, doing (self-)guided meditations, applying Reiki or white light, and digging deeper and deeper, great healing can take place and spiritual insight can be realized.
Healing is indeed a process of discovery. There is an interaction between body and mind, going in a spiral up for removal of blockages, and creating clarity and purer energy. Linda realizes where she holds the old, limiting notions in here body and then sends the Reiki there for healing. Those of you not attuned to Reiki, can simply send unconditional love or White Light there instead. Same principles apply.
Linda used a book. Esoteric books are a good source for signs and symbols. Angel cards, elements of nature (animals), or simply ‘what you are aware of’ can also offer fruitful material. With that material, take the next steps on your journey of healing.
Take one step towards Spirit, and Spirit will take a thousand steps towards you!
