Physical fitness has been lacking categorically from my blog but that’s changing. One of my New Year Resolutions is: get fitter, and I’ll write about it..
Santa knew of this new interest in fitness and brought me a Gymboss.
What’s a Gymboss? It’s a small, easy-to-use, repeating interval timer which offers you easy structure to your training routine. You can set it to any kind of interval and make it suit all kinds of sport.
We may not like the idea of ‘being bossed’ by anyone or anything, but think of it as having a private trainer around. What’s great about this gadget, is that it helps you to be disciplined in getting an effective work-out done in a short time.
Personally, I just want to begin a daily 4-minute-workout routine. For now. After a while, I hope to do the routine a couple of times. That’s pretty minimal, which suits me perfectly.
My Exercise Program
Here it is, simple:
- 20 seconds leg exercises (squats or lunges)
- 10 seconds break
- 20 seconds abs (sit-ups)
- 10 seconds break
- 20 seconds arms (push-ups)
- 10 seconds break
Repeat till 4 minutes are up.
