Silent Love Bombs

Sometimes there are just tiny little triggers that make you take a certain action, that you just KNOW is what is called for in the world that day.

Today, I came across an old comment from Anna, a World Healing participant, who was looking for a beloved poem that I posted 2 years ago.*proof god exists

While the poem was called ‘The New Religion of the 21st Century’ , Anna called it ‘Silent Love Bombs’, a title I like so much better!!!

Let me share it with you all today, again. It’s a lovely and inspirational poem by Brian Piergrossi. Here’s the link:

Let’s Help Tibet This Time

Om Mani Peme Hung

I am deeply saddened by the devastating tragedy caused by several severe earthquakes that struck on April 14 in Kham, Eastern Tibet. The region of Kyigudo (Chinese:  Yushu), which is located in Qinghai Province of the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, has suffered significant losses, with more than 2000 confirmed dead 1), and many thousands more injured, tremendous loss of property, and exceptionally difficult conditions in which to help those suffering in the aftermath of the disaster.

1.) 108 Zenbooks.com received the following letter from the Canada Tibet Committee, which contains further information and assistance:

    “Dear friends,

Last week’s earthquake in Jyekundo (Chinese: Yushu), a predominantly Tibetan area, has devastated the region. Local citizens need your help. The official death toll at the time of writing this email stood at 2,039, but unofficial reports indicate the toll may be as high as 15,000. Another 12,000 are injured.

The CTC has pledged funds towards immediate relief for the victims of the earthquake. Our donation will be channeled through Machik, an organization that is already on the ground providing relief. Machik is also able to issue Canadian tax receipts.

If you are able to donate please visit:

https://www.canadahelps.org/DonationDetails.aspx?cookieCheck=true and select the Jyekundo Earthquake relief option on the Fund designation icon. Or visit the Machik website – www.machik.org – and click on “Donate Now” through the Canada Helps icon.

You can also help by contacting your MP

Please write or call and ask your MP to:

    • Make a statement in Parliament acknowledging the tragedy, and specifically referring to Tibetans. The population of the region is 97 per cent Tibetan.
Encourage the Chinese government to graciously accept international offers of support from aid organizations ready to provide immediate relief, and for long term support in rebuilding.
    • Encourage China to review its development policies in the region related to hydro facilities and water management, see:
    • Request that the Chinese government accept His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s offer to visit the earthquake zone. Tibetans in Jyekundo have issued a remarkable letter appealing for His Holiness to visit the region and His Holiness has expressed his willingness (full text below).

Letter from Tibetans to President Hu and Premier Wen, requesting a visit by the Dalai Lama
    16 April 2010

Dear President Hu and Premier Wen,
Wish you both good health. During the initial hours of the natural disaster, we appreciate your government’s immediate relief efforts through soldiers and all round support from different sections of the society and we, the victims of this calamity, thank you for the same.

But we are a deeply religious community having a strong faith in the teachings of Buddha. Since many generations, we have a deep faith in His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Today, as we are suffering from a great physical and mental anguish, we really need His Holiness to visit the quake affected area to pray for the departed souls and to provide solace to the broken hearts. Today, we request you, president Hu and premier Wen, to find the compassion in your hearts and fulfill this desire of us quake victims. We, the quake victims numbering more than 10,000, implore you from our hearts to temporarily set aside your government’s political differences with the Dalai Lama and kindly consider our request.

With this invitation to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we have no other objective apart from fulfilling our religious aspirations of praying for the departed souls and the survivors of the disaster.

In this hour of distress, His Holiness’ visit to offer prayers and condolences in person is the only way to heal our wounded hearts.

There is no other better way.

Statement of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
His Holiness the Dalai Lama Eager to Visit Earthquake Affected Area

As I mentioned briefly soon after I heard the news, I was deeply saddened by the effects of the devastating earthquake in the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (Tibetan:Kyigudo) of Qinghai Province which resulted in the tragic loss of many lives, a great number of injured and severe loss of property. Because of the physical distance between us, at present I am unable to comfort those directly affected, but I would like them to know I am praying for them.

I commend the monastic community, young people and many other individuals from nearby areas for their good neighbourly support and assistance to the families of those who have lost everything. May your exemplary compassion continue to grow. This kind of voluntary work in the service of others really puts the bodhisattva aspiration into practice.
I also applaud the Chinese authorities for visiting the affected areas, especially Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, who has not only personally offered comfort to the affected communities, but has also overseen the relief work. I am very appreciative too that the media have been free to report on the tragedy and its aftermath.

In 2008, when a similar earthquake struck Sichuan, Chinese central and local government leaders and auxiliary authorities took great pains to provide relief, allow free access to the media, as well as clearing the way for international relief agencies to provide assistance as required. I applauded these positive moves then and appeal for such ease of access on this occasion too.

The Tibetan community in exile would like to offer whatever support and assistance it can towards the relief work. We hope to be able to do this through the proper and appropriate channels as soon as possible.
When Sichuan was rocked by an earthquake two years ago, I wished to visit the affected areas to pray and comfort the people there, but I was unable to do so. However, when Taiwan was struck by a typhoon last year, I was able to visit the affected families and pray with them for those who had perished in that disaster. In providing some solace to the people concerned, I was happy to be able to do something useful.

This time the location of the earthquake, Kyigudo (Chinese: Yushu), lies in Qinghai Province, which happens to be where both the late Panchen Lama and I were born. To fulfill the wishes of many of the people there, I am eager to go there myself to offer them comfort.

In conclusion, I appeal to governments, international aid organizations and other agencies to extend whatever assistance they can to enable the families of those devastated by this tragedy to rebuild their lives. At the same time, I also call on the survivors of this catastrophe to recognize what has happened as the workings of karma and to transform this adversity into something positive, keeping their hopes up and meeting setbacks with courage as they struggle to restore what they have lost. Once again, I pray for those who have lost their lives as well as for the well being of those who have survived.

    Healing the World – Invitation

September 30, 2009 by Oneness World Healing
    Filed under World Healing

Today I have two World Healing announcements:

    1. WORLD HEALING MEDITATION/REIKI GROUP ~ We Are One World Healing

This Sunday, November 1, we will hold our monthly session whereby we unite in space to create a synergistic energy beam to help heal humanity, all nature and planet earth.

We have become a strong group of several ’00s Reiki masters, Reiki practitioners and others generous souls holding a vision for good. Partial participants list.

I hereby invite you to join us, as we certainly need to grow and strengthen our beam. Participating is a blissful experience and you can find many write ups of experiences by participants on the blog here. As well, our participants from Africa and England are sending us hopeful words from time to time. Usually, after the world healing meditation/reiki session, I personally feel rewarded and very peaceful.

Our next session is Sunday, November 1, 9-10 am in San Francisco, USA, or 6-7 pm in Europe, or your time zone equivalent. Details on why to participate and how to participate are here.

JOIN TODAY. Please register so that we can energetically connect with you. (If you are ill, have a pace maker, or similar, focus on your own healing first before joining the group. Our collective energy is strong.)

    Till Sunday!

    2. CLIMATE CHANGE – Blog Action Day 2009 – PARTICIPATION

My blog has just registered with Blog Action Day 2009. This is an annual event that unites the world’s bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day. This year’s topic is Climate Change, something that my angels have been warning me about. Lots…

The aim of Blog Action Day is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion. By ALL OF US addressing Climate Change on the same day, the blogging community effectively changes the conversation on the web and focuses audiences around the globe on that issue.

So, stay tuned for my upcoming global warming article, and if you have something to contribute in this regards, please do let me know. Co-writers are always welcome on this blog. The blog is called, after all, ‘We Are One World Healing’, and not ‘I am doing all the work so 6+ billion other people can benefit’.

Blog Action Day is October 15.

    Alright all,
    Happy Spirits & Lovely Times

    Zimbabwe Turns a New Leaf

February 11, 2009 by Oneness World Healing

I know that in North America we are all very aware of America’s new presidential shift. Obama has ‘hope’ written on his forehead. However, the US is not the only country where the political climate is changing so that the population is now hopeful again.

Today, I received an email from an South African ‘We Are One World Healing’ participant, who alerted me to what is happening in her part of the world. She wrote:

“Today is a celebration day for me!

There is history being made in Zimbabwe!!!! Yeehaa! I am so grateful for the progress my heart can’t decide whether it wants to laugh or cry! I actually am so moved I end up with my head bowed in namasté.

YOU have something to do with that Astrid!!!!! I know the healing we have done with our meditations has made a difference! Well done.”

Where she wrote ‘YOU’, I feel that she spoke to ALL participants of We Are One World Healing instead, not just me, so take it as a compliment and a sentiment of gratitude. Not I, but WE are ‘We Are One World Healing’.

To be able to share into her excitement, I checked what BBC has to say about the developments in Zimbabwe, and found this:

"Zimbabwe"Zimbabwe’s new Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai, has vowed to stabilise the country’s shattered economy and end political violence.

The former opposition leader addressed thousands of cheering supporters after being sworn-in under a power-sharing deal with President Robert Mugabe.

Zimbabwe faces rampant inflation, a cholera epidemic and 90% unemployment. The international community has promised additional aid to the country only if real changes take place.

Addressing a rally at a stadium in Harare, Mr Tsvangirai said the government had to “get the country working again”. “The first priority is to stabilise the economy,” he said. “The economic collapse has forced millions of our most able to flee the country. This must end today.” (source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7884282.stm)

    STATE OF ZIMBABWE
Five million people – almost half population – need food aid
    Hyperinflation
    Unemployment of 90%
About 3,400 people killed in cholera outbreak

We both agree: “And yes, the ‘move forward’ energy is strong.”

    Pictures of World Peace

November 27, 2008 by Oneness World Healing
    Filed under Inspiration

I tend to ask pertinent questions in my practice, to help my clients focus on what is truly important in their life. So, in the midst of that personal conversation, one of my Reiki clients said last week:

    pictures of world peace

“If I could have just one wish, it would be World Peace”. I was blown away, as that single line moved us completely out of the details of his life, jumping right into the bigger, inspired picture.

This client is a young actor. Young actors may at times be stereotyped as self-centered … well, this young man is obviously not that ego-driven.

This article on Pictures of World Peace (with art by none less than Picasso!) is posted in his honor. I am truly blessed in that he, other clients and my angels and guides all show me pictures of world peace on my daily path. In words, sounds and pictures, I see & hear visions of the healing of a broken world, or rather, a healed world!

I find these visuals motivating. May this blog article filled with artistic pictures of world peace that I have found for you bring you as much inspiration.

    World Healing :: Healing Children

November 4, 2008 by Oneness World Healing

I receive lots of blissful accounts of what it is like to participate in our We Are One World Healing monthly sessions. Every once and a while, I receive an account that I just LOVE SO MUCH I have to share it! Here is one. This powerful imagery of a healing world is from a new participant, Tony ‘o Connor, and his account warms my heart!

    1021014_stairwayheaven_beniaminpop.jpg

“What a wonderful experience. I prepared 1/2 the morning for the encounter with the One World Healing. The efforts paid off more than I had expected. I meditated the entire hour (started about five minutes early and finished a couple minutes after because it “felt right”) and finished feeling relaxed yet invigorated and so full of spiritual healing energies. I had several visions but one that will remain with me for quite some time. I would like to share that now…

I was standing on one step of a large stairway of white light. There was a person on each step leading upward very high and very far beyond my line of sight. There were people of all races, creeds, shapes and sizes and we all stood on our individual step. Then someone on the step below me handed me a sickened child. This child was emaciated and full of sores.

I took the child and held him close to my body and let love flow from me into him and I felt the tears form in my eyes. I turned and then handed the child to the person on the step above me who in turn loved and healed the child then passed him to the next step up. I then took another child from the person next to me and this child was ill but not with the same sickness as the previous child. I did the same… I loved the child and felt heat and light pass from me to her and then turned to hand her to the person on the next step. I could see that the children were being healed as they passed upward on the stair! Way of light and healers. They became healthier and plumper and full of joy.

My tears were warm on my cheeks as I turned to take the next child and saw the line down the staircase to be long and with no end in sight. A constant line of people of all faiths and nations handing children up the stairway to one another and adding their love and healing on the way.

    1093120_little_sleepy_svilen_mushkatov.jpg

But I noticed the children being handed to me were healthier and “cleaner” than the earlier ones. As if they were being healed more quickly and I soon found myself with a whole child loving and laughing as I took her into my arms.

A child that was healing me in return as I held her and loved her unconditionally. What a peaceful loving embrace that we parted reluctantly as I handed her to the step above and saw her changing even then before my eyes. Changing into a woman full of grace and life and light. A healer was born before my eyes on that stairway of light.

    Then the vision changed…

I will hold this vision dear and know it was a confirmation from the Universe that I was indeed “hooked in” to this beautiful World Healing experience. I also know the Universe is telling me that our selfless efforts are working and we are healing our world one child… one soul… one moment at a time and raising a new generation toward the Light to carry our healing forth to all the World.

    Namaste!”

    Happy New Day

At the end the year 2007, let me reflect for a moment. For some, this year was pure bliss. For others, it contained painful lessons. For all of us, however, the past is over.

As well, the best perspective about January 1, 2008 is this: ‘Today is a new day.’

A Minister in a Japanese Zen Buddhist church I went to in Palo Alto, California, said in the mass at January 1, 2000:
‘Oh, not another millennium. Rather, just a new day.” There was something so balancing about that comment – it has stuck with me, for 8 years now. Bringing balance into my every day breath.

    Happy New Day to You!
