So, I thought it would be an opportune time to introduce a new tool on the blog ‘We Are One World Healing’ that would help you in your planning effort.

I’ve had this book, The I Ching, The Book of Changes, as translated by James Legge, I think for over 20 years, And I’ve diligently taken it along from country to country, and from house to house.   Last week, I was all of a sudden drawn to it and I used it again. It is very interesting.

What is the I Ching?

Throughout time, man has used a variety of tools for divination. The I Ching of ancient China is one of the oldest tool for divination.

Development of the I Ching

Actually, the I Ching or the Book of Changes is one of the most important books in the history of Oriental culture. The basic text of this book seems to have been prepared before 1,000 BC in the last days of the Shang Dynasty and the first part of the Chou Dynasty.  This book was one of the Five Classics edited by Confucius, who wished he had fifty more years to study it.   Since Confucius, it never lost its importance.

In essence, the I Ching is a manual of divination, founded upon what modern scholars like Wolfgang Pauli, the Nobel Laureate physicist and C. G. Jung, the psychoanalyst, have been called the synchronistic concept of the universe.  This means that all things happening at a certain time have certain characteristics features which can be isolated, so that in addition to vertical causality, one may also have horizontal linkages.  

According to tradition, King Wan and his son the Duke of Chou spent their lives analyzing the results of divination in terms of interacting polar forces and six-variable hexagrams, correlating an observed body of events with predictions.

I Ching Symbols

In an I Ching reading you are presented with two I Ching hexagrams (called ? guà in Chinese).  Each hexagram consists of six lines stacked on top of each other. The lines are either broken in the center (yin) or solid lines (yang). Each hexagram has its own meaning. There are 64 hexagrams in all.

A hexagram diagram is actually composed of two three-line arrangements, called trigrams (also called ? guà in Chinese).   The first three lines of the hexagram or the lower trigram reflect the inner aspect of the change that is occurring.  The upper trigram describes the dynamic outer (external) situation. 

The eight trigrams of I-Ching are Earth, Mountain, Water, Wind, Thunder, Fire, Lake & Heaven, and are depicted in this chart.

How to Use this Tool of Divination

It is said that sincere use of the I Ching will help one make the right moves at the right time, minimize pitfalls and enhance one’s opportunities of success.

Do not ask trivia questions. Also, do not ask the same question more than once. If the answer is not clear to you, you can either meditate on it some more, or ask a clarifying question.

Get Your Own I Ching Manual

You may find that your initial reading requires you to reflect on it for some time.

Personally, I believe it takes some time and further study to obtain the full benefit from your readings.  If you indeed want to learn more, I highly recommend that you obtain your own I Ching manual, such as any of these books, as they are the more original, classic texts on the topic:

I have previously written about one of my favorite archangels, Archangel Micheal.

Archangel Jeremiel

Today, I want to introduce you to another important but lesser known one, Archangel Jeremiel. He is one of the seven core archangels according to the ancient Judaic text.

As I taught you previously, all the names of archangels have specific meanings. This Judaic archangel’s name means ‘Mercy of God’. Other names for him are archangel Ramiel or archangel Remieli.

Jesus The Friend

One of the ‘We Are One World Healing members from South Africa, Renee D., wrote me a list of four stories that came to her mind about our friend Jesus. You can tell from her stories, that she has fun and loving friendship with Jesus, rather than experienced a one-off encounter with him.

1. I really wanted to go to the Lionel Richie concert but had no one to go with, so He and I went together. It only cost me the price of one ticket and when the show began, the four seats on my left were empty! I figured Jesus has a big aura!!! J It was cool though. He sat in the passenger seat of my car with me on the way there, helped look for parking and found me the least crowded routes to my seat. He was a beautiful companion for an evening about love and good times.

2. One morning I was having a troubled moment and asked Him if we could talk. He promptly sat cross-legged on the floor next to me on my yoga mat, and gently took my hand. (Again on the left) When I began my story of woe, He leaned over, kissed me gently on the forehead and then looked into my eyes with those amazing blue ones of His, and I was overwhelmed with His compassion and peace – and of course forgot what I was complaining about completely. He stayed for a while just holding my hand until I was ready to get up and face the day.

3. On the way to work one morning, the classical radio station had played a magnificent piece of music that had me sobbing with the intensity of it. I turned off the radio after it was done in order to hold onto that space for a while longer, and after a while felt like something light to hum along to for the rest of the journey. I remembered I had a cd that might do the trick, so I switched it all back on again and started looking for the right disc in the loaded selection. The next cd that came on was Bryan Adams, and Jesus promptly picked up his guitar and stood at a microphone on the imaginary stage and sang “The Best of Me’ to me. Complete with all the usual fun of a live performance!

4. Another time I was in the car and needing a bit of a boost, I stopped at a traffic light and the car next to me was enjoying Enrique Iglesias‘ “Escape” . The lyrics that jumped out at me were “You can run, you can hide, but you can’t escape my Love”.

One of my personal friends here in Vancouver, Canada, is not religious but she’s spiritual. She is also a healing professional who often works with angels. On one occasion, she had decided to invite Jesus into a self-healing session. She had asked him to come into her body and help her heal.

She had asked Jesus to give her an in-body experience as she was sick at that time. Well, he did. He very simply asked her to continue his work, and my friend burst into an uncontrollable crying, releasing many of her fears as a healer. She felt strengthened after wards.

During a Christmas gala dinner this year, I learned another delightful Jesus-encountering story. This lady had been asked to be the God mother for the baby of her best friend. She was thrilled with the honor. The only problem was, as she saw it, that she did not even believe in Jesus.

This was over ten years ago now, while she was living in the UK by herself. Anyhow, one evening while she was reading a book on the sofa and thinking a bit, just like that, Jesus visited her. It was an amazingly wonderful presence. She knew it was Jesus.

She summed it all up by saying ‘It felt great’. What is hard to describe was the look on her face, and her whole demeanor when she told me all this. She was literally glowing with delight, in the most adorable way: like a child who just received the best toy from santa ~ or better!

Needless to say, this encounter with Jesus did not only take her roadblock away from becoming the godmother to her friend’s child, it completely changed her life. She went on a pilgrimage to Bethlehem, and got herself baptized in the red sea.

The Medicine Buddha is the healing Buddha. He is a very powerful and important deity in Tibetan Buddhism. While everyone can pray to the Medicine Buddha, a Rimpoche (high lama) can attune individuals to the Medicine Buddha, making their prayers to the Medicine Buddha more powerful.

In my case, first studied the Medicine Buddha (oh, and I have still a lot more to learn…) and obtained Medicine Buddha attunement. Then while painting, I alternated sending Reiki to the painting, reciting the Medicine Buddha prayer and the Medicine Buddha seed mantra. It took 2 months to complete this painting.

You may wonder, as I did then, “What is an aka cord ?”

The insights of aka cords come from the sacred Huna teachings from Hawaii. In these teachings, ‘aka’ is described as a sticky, elastic connecting substance, which conducts vital force and thought forms over its threads and cords. (Yes, thoughts are also connected. Each thought is linked by an aka thread to the thought threads that came before it. This explains our association of ideas.)

Aka threads and cords connect you to everyone & everything. Every time you contact a person or object, you are sending out aka threads. Each contact with the same person/thing adds a thread till these become braided together into an aka cord. When you have a strong aka cord connection with someone, you communicate telepathically, as well as in person or by phone.

The aka threads of attraction are stronger between people, as we are usually more attached to people rather than things. However, I can also see aka threads between me and my favorite slippers, and the connection to my aunt via the little statue she once gave me that now features in my home.

People are usually unconscious of aka cord formations. The cords are a normal connection between family, friends and lovers to exchange empathy, love and information. With most other people, these threads/cords are flimsy and fade quickly.

Why manage Aka cords

The aka cords can become negative attachments which drain your energy. Even aka cords amongst loving family members. For example, you can imagine the ‘drain’ from a mother who wants a son to go to graduate school doing accounting, while he knows inside himself that he must pursue a music career.

For professionals (eg Reiki practitioners) who do healing energy work for others, knowing how to manage aka cords is important. Clients may want to continue to draw energy from you after the session is over. This can be draining for the professional energy working. In addition, it can be ‘addictive’ for clients.

Anybody in my Reiki healing energy classes knows that I insist that after every session they first close the aura of the client and ‘lock in’ the Reiki healing energy in their client. Subsequently, they are to sweep their own aura and cut off all connections to the person they just worked on. Taking it one step further, when the client has left, I want them to wash their hands under cold water to further purify their own body. This way, clients don’t continue to draw energy through the aka cord.

Beyond this, when I after a client treatment find myself thinking about this client more than once, I do the ritual of cutting our aka cord again. It is not fair to myself nor other clients to have a continuous drain leading to someone else.

And last but not least, about once a month or so, I conduct an overall aka cutting ritual.

How to manage Aka cords, overall

In the Huna teachings, you first ask to be shown the beneficial cords. You send love, gratitude and blessings down these cords. Then, you ask to be shown ones that do no longer serve you. You cut these.

You can manage your own aka threads once you’ve first become aware of them. If you work with angels, you could ask your guardian angel to do it for you.

Sometimes, I cut all aka cords, knowing that the important ones (e.g. with my loved ones and family) will reestablish themselves. This simple ritual is particularly useful when I feel tired or drained and I can’t seem to figure out why I feel drained. The ritual results in an immediate shift whereby I feel much lighter.

Conclusion

Whether you choose to detach aka cords one by one as they materialize, or if you prefer to conduct a more rigorous aka cord cutting ritual from time to time, it is important to maintain only those that serve you.

Today, Lightworkers Gathered;
The Seed of Earth’s Enlightenment Was Planted.

Outside my window, our young horse ‘Bennie’ and his friend, a somewhat sick-looking older dog, are standing side-by-side looking at me as if to ask ‘what are you waiting for’. Then it daunts upon me: The Universe was reminding me to respond to Astrid Lee’s invitation to join her group healing of the planet, each full moon.

Joining a group in sending combined energy seemed like a great idea. As Reiki Master / Color Healing Therapist, I send energy to the Earth daily. With Quantum Touch, I had seen this energy multiply 100 times. So, my response to the group’s invitation was ‘yes!’.

At the time of the invitation, my mind was stretched by “The Last Ghost Dance”, a book I was reading by Brooke Medicine Eagle (medicineeagle.com). I was exploring possibilities. My gut-feeling: everything was about to change. The ‘gloom & doom’-scenario playing out on the planet was about to get a rude awaking. It all might be bigger than expected. In the mist of these dark times, all I had been feeling lately was hope, love and compassion coming from all around me. Sure, there were pockets of fear. Yet, they felt uncomfortable – like they had no place to stand.

So, as I lay down in my simple little cabin on the banks of the Trancura river in southern Chile, I breath myself into a higher vibration. I feel hundreds maybe thousands of others doing the same. I look out of my window again and notice the animals are now smiling as if to say ‘Something good is about to happen’.

The hands of others reach out and clasp mine. I breath deeply, pulling colors from the rainbow bridge I am standing on. The red of my Root Chakra grounds me and brings the strength of family to my surface and this circle of life I am laying in, the orange of my Sacral Chakra brings passion and desire for a better tomorrow with a cleaner way of living. The yellow of my Solar Plexus Chakra refreshes me on this journey with pure organic energy. The green of my Heart Chakra fills me with love, the love of my first grandchild, the love of my father and mother, my grandfather and grandmother and the love of our father from above.

I feel the hand to my left trembling and I feel fear so I breath deeper into the love of my heart and my father and I send the energy to them, the hand on my right is firm, strong and kind, it helps me by pulling clear energy from beyond it into me to pass on to this place of fear, and as I breath deep I ask “who are you” several times I inquire “who are you” and then they answer “We are all the people of this planet that are afraid of the darkness.”

I think “I am strong I can help you”. I breath deep and feel the wisdom of all the others in the circle and I say “don’t be afraid, breath deep, feel your heart, believe in your love and the trebling slows, pulling deep from my own love and the love of the group I send a burst of love energy into the hand holding mine and it warms. So I pull higher and next breaths moving with the group to the turquoise of the Throat Chakra and I hear you must speak out, “we must all speak out, we must spread this truth to others, we must spread this hope, this love to others who are afraid. We must all speak our truths now.” I make a promise to remember and send it out to the universe, today.

The power in the circle deepens and the vibration rises. I clearly see the group breathing in unison. It is starting deep in the center of the Earth. It pulls up the pure energy that is there and bringing it through the colors of the rainbow bridge we are all standing on. It sends it up through the heavens through the guardian angels, to the great prophets, to the heavens and on up to the universe, and then pulling it back down and sending it out over the Earth, feeding it.

I notice that my feet are pointing North and my head South. I realize that unlike the maps that have been drawn south is up and north is down and I see a line directly connecting them through the center of the Earth. ‘Wow, the world is truly going to be turned upside down.’

I see the energy of the group heading out in a cone-shaped-sphere to the South and North poles and entering the earth, balancing it. My elbows are pointing outwards and I realize the energy is also heading out to the West and into all the animals of the Earth including Bennie and the now-much-healthier looking-dog standing still in the back yard, I also see the groups energy going out to the west and to the surface of the earth.

I feel it getting healthier and more vibrant with each breath I take. As I lay there I feel the calm strong deep energy of the group as a collective and I realize that this energy will continue though out the day as others join in and participate in the is group healing, and I sing “May the circle, be unbroken, by and by, lord, by and by.”

Like a mantra I sing over and over as I feel the energy rise and see the deep indigo blue of my Brow Chakra glowing brightly and I hear, “All of you must use your wisdom, you must use your intuition, you must follow your own light as we all move forward into the age of Aquarius, now is the time for great healing to accrue. The Earth and all on it will feel this new energy, this old energy renewed as we move forward into the next 1000 years and we are so fortunate to be here now and to be apart of this Awaking.

Feeling the presence of the Deity, we pull deeper through the violet of the Crown Chakra to the center of the Earth. We touch the golden elixir-of-life that lay in the core of the Earth. As a group, we pull it up through all the colors of the rainbow bridge we are standing on. We raise it up and connect it to the golden glow that is coming from Heaven.

I anticipate the Deity’s energy to descend. It does not come, which confuses me. Then from the hands that I hold and from the center of my heart & soul I feel his light begin to grow as I hear him say “the light is not from above it comes from inside of each and every one of you”.

We all hold tighter, we all feel his love connecting with our love and we send out a higher and cleaner energy to feed the Earth and its inhabitants and there is a calm pulse to this pure energy as it feeds all.

“May the circle be unbroken, by and by, lord, by and by. I realize that I have physically removed myself from our circle but my energy has stayed connected and vibrating at a very high level. I see an large orange egg coming from the heavens. It falls to Earth and enters this circle of energy burying itself deep in the Earth and I realize this egg is from the conception of the Awaking and has just come to Earth.

I feel it has only a 30 day gestation period and I realize this is just the beginning of this beautiful monthly circle and its birth will be in 30 days on August 28th. I know we are joining other who have been doing the energy dance for a long time and am feeling that after this date the Age of Aquarius will be firmly upon us, I smile because that is when the real fun starts. Are you ready? I am.

I can’t wait for next month gathering, please bring a friend this is going to be something to behold.

Oh yeah. Bennies back, he says he can’t wait either and I see he is standing inside of my medicine wheel trimming the grass as if cleaning it up for the celebration to come.

At this celebration we will as Brook Medicine Eagle says, have made a Rainbow Bridge and the covenant of a unified Heaven and Earth will be fulfilled.

The best news of all is that although there may be waves of darker and lighter times in the great cycles of the universe, we will never again have to be in the kind of darkness we are now experiencing. Our Mother Earth has moved through Her own initiation, choosing to become Lady Gaia, upon whom harmony and peace reign.

So come along and find yourself back in time long, long ago where a large group of light energy healers roamed the earth. Giving, breathing, sending clean healing energy, daily into the universal chi surrounding them and directly back into the land they live on. This life force then fills and enlivens everything Earthly, creating a Golden Age.

In a short time all things and beings, including animals and everything physical, rise in consciousness, living in more and more subtle realms. Harmony rises to incredible heights. The land in return boars a harvest that adds to this circle of love by bursting forth fruit, nuts and greenery, pure, organic and full of clean, clear, energy and nourishing their souls.

This cycle of life feeds all that breaths in its essence. Fed by love and living in a world of love, peace, and pure energy these humble people thanked God everyday for their life in this Garden of Eden. Are you ready?

One of the emails mentioned how a sibling had passed away on July 29. Now in the spirit-world, she is a very active supporter of her brother. I know. I channelled her messages for him. We are not alone any longer, and it’s perfectly OK. This sibling has moved to a place where she can join in. Angels can help heal the world. And so can you.

The other healing message I received was that in India, this World Healing falls on an extremely auspicious and holy day.

This full moon day in India we call Guru Poornima. This day is important as everyone take blessings from GURU. That is GURU who gives knowledge. On 29th July the full moon in Indian time will be 8 .30 PM.

Guru Namsmaran is done on this day. My Husband has written an article ‘Effortless Namsmaran and Choiceless Awareness’. Namasmaran means ‘remembering or repeating the sacred word’, your mantra given by the Guru.

It’s been a big week. The list of grave client issues that surfaced in my healing practice this week is long. They included suicidal tendencies, child witnessing a murder, past life drowing, child and sexual abuse and a breast cancer alarm. Additionally, there were all sorts of office issues, career & money challenges; and relationship/partner issues.

THE MESSAGE

While these seem quite unrelated issues, the Reiki clairaudient messages I received this week for the various clients actually had something in common. They built a wider perspective for clients to help them conceive peace and find inner-harmony, no matter what happened in their past, present or future. It reminded me that we should see ourselves as Spiritual Beings (souls) with Earthen experiences (as oposed to human beings with spiritual moments).

Clients were encouraged to be more soulful, to reach a level of unattachment from their contextual environment, and to apply unconditional love when relating to that environment. It was a new perspective and choice: by seeing love and being love, they would actually receive love and live in love.

WHAT DOES UNCONDITIONAL LOVE MEAN?

“Soul love is a quality of being, a shining light that lifts, soothes, and comforts all who come within its sphere of influence.” writes the spiritual writer, Sayana Roman, in her book ‘Soul Love‘. (The book is one of my favorites.)

“Soul love is serene because it is unconditional. Your soul loves without needing to receive anything in return.
It does not measure how much love to give by how deserving people are. Your soul offers love without needing appreciation, acknowledgment, praise or reward for its love. Soul love does not ‘come and go’, based on the actions & reactions of others. Your soul gives love to others without caring how others use this love or even if they use it.

Feel the serenity that comes from giving love without needing to receive anything in return.”

YOUR NEXT STEP

So, as we are ALL souls with earthen experiences, this week’s shared reiki messages actually apply to us all, and we can all enjoy the serenity that comes from living in unconditional love.

Ahhh, sounds nice but not easy (read: impossible) to give unconditional love to one’s least favorite persons? Give yourself a surprise. Try it, by simply giving unconditional love to at least 4 people today. Just think it, say it, show it, live it. Start by giving it to yourself! You can do it. Observe the changes that occur within you and surrounding you as you do so. Continue and do 4 more tomorrow and each day following. Include more and more people you havent been fond of in the past.

These hour-long world energy healing sessions are made to fit in my life. Meaning: my daughter had to be driven to school. I had to start this World Healing session ’ late’ or ’on the go’.  I decided to start ‘on the go’ but only count my healing time at home. I wouldn’t be fully concentrated on the healing while driving.   On the way home, at one point I felt like stopping the car to take the roof of my convertible.  It was a sign from my guide. Aha. I realized then it was 9 am EXACTLY, time for Reiki.  I drove home in bliss.  (btw. Does your guide gives you signs too?)

At home, when I settled in front of my altar for this World Healing session,  my guide instructed me TO PAINT rather than to sit in meditation.  So I did.  I am a healing art painter – see http://www.eArtfair.com – When I paint, I play Tibetan buddhist chants to Chenrezig, Medicine Buddha &  Tara. These days,  while painting, I also give distant Reiki to all who see and own the artwork.  The process of painting is one big healing event in my case.

As I just finished a large Medicine Buddha Thangka painting,  today I enjoyed the delight of working on a brand-new canvas.  It wanted to be a World Healing painting.  I will take pictures of it through out the creation process.

I alternated painting with sitting in meditation with my hands in the mudras of the Medicine Buddha. Throughout, the healing energy came strong through my arms and hands, and out to the world. The energy had a Spring-like quality to it: light & breezy but grounding!

When in Reiki meditation, my mind was often drawn to Africa and Asia, and then brought back to the here & now of my life and the lives of those surrounding me, including all participants of the world healing.

If the ’wave of unconditional love’ that will come rolling back into my life this month is anything as good as last month’s wave, I am looking sincerly forward to the times ahead!!!
