#5 World Healing CONTEST offering 6 weeks of Free REIKI

I had set out to have an exquisitely peaceful morning at the beach behind our home. However, Reiki put my mind and body to work instead.

Usually, I start our We Are One World Healing sessions with sending Reiki Healing energy to help empower and thank our participants. Boom. I realized we need more people.

This was the idea that was put to me, to get more people faster:

Whosoever gets the most people to join We Are One World Healing, wins.

DURATION
I would like to invite you all to join my contest during:

  • Starting date: August 14, 5 pm Vancouver time;
  • Closing date: Sept 30, 5 pm Vancouver time.

    • PRIZES
    FIRST PRIZE: 6 weeks of free distance reiki (45 min session each week)
    SECOND PRIZE: 2 weeks of free distance reiki (short sessions)

    THE CONTEST ‘RULES’
    This will be a contest is based on actual number of people joining. To qualify, all participants referred by you, must indicate your name as well as their own name, city, state, country. New registrants can also join the contest themselves. The minimum number to win any prize is 10 people.

    I may post an interim number of new World Healing participants as invited by anyone, after a few weeks. My target is a 1000 new people … invited by us all. I hope you join in this rally for expanding our group.

    WORLD HEALING IS NO LONGER A ‘NICE TO DO’ BUT A ‘MUST’

    To tilt for good, we need to expand our group hugely. I’m getting a strong sense of ‘time is running out’ . Whose weather pattern hasn’t changed this year? Do we need any more proof of global warming? Or proof of over-fishing; over-farming; deforestation; soil erosion? …. (fill in your worry on the blank spot).

    Facts are so great to meditate on, sometimes. I hereby invite anyone to write a ’state of the world’ factual blog article with nature’s actual rate of decline figures, facts and details. While this initiative needs to stay in the ‘bliss’, contextual information is needed to gear up our action. We’re in slow first gear now. Once we reach 1000 people strong, I’m going to ask for a volunteer publicitist, to get us firmly into second gear.

    OK. Sigh… my mind calmed when all this information was relayed. I finally saw the water, the sand, the driftwood, the beauty. I cherished the lone goose and the birds above the water. Ahh… Finally calm meditation time for me…?! Nope.

    During this world healing session in July, I was called to clean up the beach. When I arrived, the beach looked pristine, as per usual. However, the longer I spend there, the more garbage I spotted. Everywhere. It became bothersome - I HAD to start cleaning up. While cleaning and sending Reiki at the same time, my mind pondered about our creation of plastic-anything, balloons, and styro-foam. I concluded to create a site section about ‘what you can do to empower your world in ‘cleaning up our act to save the planet’. There are many excellent initiatives out there, and I thought to do a blog carnival (note: blog carnival is a list of good quality info links into one coherent article) on world clean-up.

    Then, I thought about the teachers and the youngsters. We have 3 teachers amongst us now. But, I have yet to hear the stories of what happens in school with regards to this world healing. How can I help you, teachers??!! Need ideas for sharing hte initiative? How about creating a collective class ‘world healing’ box. Each day, the kids can add an issue to the box, and the teacher can discuss it weekly, incorporate things that come up into the lesson plans, etc. Families can do discuss their World Healing issues and ideas too, e.g. during dinner time. It’s a fun way for a family to progress on the path of greater well-being for the family and the world at large. Kids have great, innovative ideas on how to solve big problems. They are inventive, out-of-the-box thinkers.
