World Healing #4: Global Clean-up, Fix-up, Let the Love Flow, As it Needs To

Here are four stories by world healing particpants, each describing her own experience of sending healing energy/unconditional love to the world and its people, in our synchronized World Healing energy session, today, June 30, 2007.

  • Lisa R., who just had a new baby, wrote:
    “I saw bandaids wrapping themselves onto the earth - must be the mom in me LOL!”

  • My (Astrid Lee) personal experience

    “I love myself totally in the now. I am gentle, kind and comforting to my inner child, as we uncover and release the old, negative messages within us.” read the affirmation card that I had drawn as a guide for this session, out of Louise Hay’s beautiful Power Thoughts card set. Aha.


    I asked for support from the ultimate healing Buddha to best handle this world healing session. I set up the Medicine Buddha altar and did my prayers. In the process, I felt compelled doing ground-level clean-ups: take the crumbs from under the carpet, bring food scraps to the compost bin, take unwanted books from under my overflowing bookshelf and put them at the curb with a sign ‘free’; Walk into the garage, and do the 1 minute ‘let’s get rid of this (unusable object)’- exercise. I GOT the symbolic message: clean up !

    When I finally could sit serenely still, sending Reiki, I started to receive Reiki-ed information:
    “We need to go back to ’square 1′ and evaluate all we do and the way we do our living.”; eg. “Soup out of a plastic cup instead of a handmade ceramic bowl ..?! …. And everything that permeates us, eg. wireless technologies, other radiation, porn spam.” “We need an unravelling and undoing of past ’sub-optimal’ choices.” While I usually specifically send some energy to the poorest parts of the world, I was clearly told to stay focused on the Western world instead. I saw things like ‘turning the light off when none is in the room’. Little changes that add up.

    An interesting session indeed. I’m curious as to what will materialize/what I will be inspired to do/say of the next 28 days.

  • Laura, a competent designer, wrote about her creative visualisations:
    “I joined in the World Healing Initiative this morning. I meditated for about 40 minutes - which was great for me, since I’m kind of new to the whole thing! I thought I’d share what I saw.

    I tend to visualize strange and interesting pictures, and this is what came to me. I imagined a sticky, pink, translucent goo, which was love, slowly making its way from my neighborhood, to all of Canada, and eventually to the entire world. It spread its way around and eventually enveloped the planet so it became a big pink orb.

    I visualized the street I live on with the air filled with the pink love goo. In the street, people slowed down what they were doing and got caught up in the fun and joy of it. Everyone became small children, swimming and playing in it, feeling free to express themselves and completely unafraid. It was a pretty cool picture!

    I think next time I’d like to meditate for the full hour - imagine what could happen!”

  • Kevin wrote: “I managed to take time away from work and send healing love. I work for a power utility and our area was devastated by a storm on June 23 &24. I and approx 90 other people have been working to restore electric service to about 1500 customers. I have never seen such damage from a storm. I believe we are being enlightened to release our hold on material objects. The damage to the forest is part of natures plan for renewal.

    We are making a difference with the love we send, again for all people do not be surprised by the outcome or result of our efforts. Renewal is not always the way we think it should be, keep the faith and hope. Great changes are upon us. Peace, Love and harmony to all.
